Coral Mountains

‘Coral Mountains’ is part of an ongoing study of experimental infrared photography by the visual artist Roland Kraemer, based in Munich. The series features various known and unknown landscapes of the alps in a new & peculiar light. With this project Roland wanted to turn the landscapes familiar to him into extraneous sceneries unfamiliar to him through the use of infrared technology. Earning a fresh view while leaving the safe terrain. What is known – turned unknown.
